We are pleased to invite you to attend the FRSA 2010 Annual Conference to be held in Melbourne from 3 – 5 November 2010. This key sector event offers a unique opportunity for you to be  involved with a conference that brings together up to the minute research, key issues and policy.

The 2010 Conference theme ‘DIVERSITY: Everyone Benefits’ builds on the work being done across the family support and family law sectors to respond appropriately to the diversity of Australian families.  It encompasses a central theme of working collaboratively and building partnerships to better service clients and support workers from different backgrounds.  We seek to draw together common threads relevant to the delivery of family relationship services across key national policy initiatives of the Federal Government including Closing the Gap on Indigenous Disadvantage, Social Inclusion, Reducing Homelessness, Protecting Children and Better Integrated Services for those at risk or living with disadvantage.

The three-day conference will be held at the Sebel & Citigate Hotel Albert Park, Melbourne.  Packed with a great line-up of presenters, interactive sessions and a fun and exciting social program, we look forward to the 2010 conference being bigger and better than ever.

We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you to our 3rd National Conference.

The Call for Papers & Expressions of Interest is now closed (Due Friday 25 June)

Papers and interactive workshop proposals were invited in response to the Conference Theme. The conference will attract delegates from family relationship services, the broader family support and family law sectors, peak bodies, government representatives, policy makers, academics and experts in children, parenting, family and relationship practice.  We welcome submissions from both new and experienced presenters.  It is our wish that you will share your ideas and work with others to provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in your session.

Thos who submitted a paper will be informed of its acceptance in late August.
