The full conference program will be available on Friday 10 September once the process of assessing abstracts and negotiating with speakers has completed. In the meantime information on speakers and sessions will be posted here and circulated in regular update emails.

The format of the conference program will be as follows:

Tues 2/11  Preconference day (Melbourne Cup race day) 

Conference Welcome Event (Sebel Citigate) from 6pm - 7.00 pm

Wednesday 3/11 - Conference Day 1

Main Conference Program from 9am  - 5.30pm

Conference Dinner at the National Gallery of Victoria from  7pm

Thursday 4/11 - Conference Day 2

Main Conference Program from 9am  - 5.30 pm

Social Networking Events from 6.30 pm

 Friday 5/11 - Conference Day 3

Main Conference Program from 9am  - 2 pm

In the afternoon meeting rooms will be available for practitioner network meetings.

 More details on the timing of sessions and speakers will be available in late June.

FRSA is currently in discussion with a broad range of potential keynote, plenary and concurrent session speakers from around Australia including:

Experts in policy and program responses to social diversity

  • Leading academics from across the disciplines of family law, family support, early intervention, child safety and wellbeing
  • Community leaders and innovators 
  • High flyers and quiet acheivers from our sector and the community sector more broadly
  • Representatives from key Government agencies and advocacy groups
  • Social commentators and representatives from the media

Invitations have also been sent to the Hon. Jenny Macklin MP Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Shadow Ministers, Members of Parliament and Senators from the opposition and cross-bench will also be approached over coming weeks.
