DESCRIPTION: \nFollowing the success of the inaugural Asia Pacific Safe & Together™ Model Conference\, The Safe & Together Institute and the Berry Street Childhood Institute are delighted to partner again to host the 2nd Annual Asia Pacific Safe & Together™ Model Conference. \nFeaturing David Mandel and Heidi Rankin from the Safe & Together Institute\, our program will showcase promising practice from North America\, the United Kingdom and Asia-Pacific.  It will bring together practitioners\, policy makers\, academics and leaders from across child protection\, child youth and family services\, family violence\, men’s services\, justice and mental health. \nHear how the Model reduces victim blaming and helps move child welfare systems away from a “failure to protect” approach while maintaining a focus on child safety. \nThe conference will include keynote presentations\, skill building and discussion in concurrent workshops and panel discussions. \n
