DESCRIPTION:Keeping good case notes and records can be hard.  It may be very time consuming and some staff may not know what to record or how to record in the most efficient way. \nThis 3 hour eWorkshop will help in taking some of the pain out of keeping case notes by giving clear guidelines on the how and why of recording as well as giving suggestions on what should be recorded. \nThis training will help in taking some of the pain out of keeping case notes by giving clear guidelines on the how and why of recording as well as giving suggestions on what should be recorded. \nThe training covers: \n\n\nWhy keep case notes and records? (this section includes a discussion on professional andlegal obligations); what is a record? \n\n\nCommon mistakes when keeping case notes and records and how to avoid them how to write in a way that is easy to defend and hard to attack \n\n\nHow to write case notes and keep records in a way that is respectful of the client and allows the worker to discharge their professional responsibilities. \n\n\nThe training will be highly interactive and the participants will be encouraged to ask questions at any time. \nDetailed notes will be provided. \nWhen: Tuesday\, 21st October 2025 from 9:30am to 12.30pm (AEDT). \nWhere: Online eWorkshop via Zoom. If payment has been received\, you will receive the Zoom details in the week prior to the eWorkshop . \nCost: The early bird booking is $195.00 (GST incl) if registered before 7th October 2025\, after the 7th October 2025 the Full Price is $250.00 (GST incl). The payment needs to be completed before the workshop occurs\, for the registration to be fully confirmed. \nFacilitator: David Cherry\nDavid Cherry is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has been working for over 40 years. David has run training on how to keep case notes and records for over 30 years. David has a particular interest in assisting people to prepare to give evidence as professional witnesses and sees keeping good case notes as part of the preparation process. David has given evidence in court on over 400 occasions in Family Court\, child protection\, criminal and civil matters. \n
