These are available Adelaide (Hindmarsh) only. \nLaunch your career in Community Services!   \nBecome the voice the community needs and contribute to social change in community settings or community-based programs.  \nThis qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services under the direction of others. \nDevelop the skills to effectively respond to clients’ needs\, refer to suitable services\, work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds\, follow safe work practices and manage personal stressors at work. \nThis training also aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to: \n\nRespond to clients and identify presenting needs\nRefer to services and provide support and assistance\n\nThe number of Welfare Support Workers is expected to grow strongly over the next 5 years. \nAt the Institute\, we understand the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
