DESCRIPTION:Enrol by Friday 31 January 2020. Courses start on Monday 10 February 2020. \nThis course is subsidised through S.A. Government. Eligibility and subsidy criteria apply. To check your eligibility visit www.skills.sa.gov.au. \nThis course is delivered mostly online but does have requirements for face-to-face\, in-classroom days. These are available in Adelaide (Hindmarsh) only.  \nThis qualification supports the attainment of the skills and knowledge to develop\, facilitate and coordinate projects for young people in a range of community-based settings\, to address the social\, behavioural\, welfare\, health\, developmental and safety needs of young people. Youth workers aim to help young people with multiple complexities in their lives find a safe place to develop as a member of society.  \nThis training program is underpinned by the practice wisdom of Future Youth Initiative (FYI)\, a youth-specific service at Relationships Australia South Australia. Students will engage and learn from Youth Workers in the field and eligible students can complete the work placement component at FYI.   \nGain an understanding of working within the Flexible Learning Option (FLO) enrolment strategy\, to help retain young people identified as at risk of disengaging from mainstream school-based learning\,   \nAt the Institute\, we understand the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds. We know how to support individuals in an engaging learning environment and best tailor education to different styles of learning.  \n
