DESCRIPTION:Ending Homelessness Together\nMelbourne Cricket Ground\, 6 – 7 August 2018\nAustralian Housing and Urban Research Institute\, in partnership with Homelessness Australia will convene the National Homelessness Conference 2018—Ending Homelessness Together\, in Melbourne on Mon 6 and Tue 7 August 2018 as part of Homelessness Week 2018. The release of 2016 Census reveals a 13.7 per cent increase of people experiencing homelessness over the five year period. Against the backdrop of these latest figures\, and with the Australian Government developing the new National Housing and Homelessness Agreement\, it is an appropriate time to revive this critical national event after a four year hiatus. \nThe Conference will bring together policy makers and practitioners from across Australia to learn\, engage and network. We are delighted to invite you to join us at this major national event and be part of the conversation aimed at ending homelessness in Australia. \n
