DESCRIPTION:Burnout affects thousands of people in helping professions across the world. \nPeople suffering from burnout may feel exhausted much of the time\, may have lost empathy for the people they are meant to be supporting and their work performance may be substantially impaired.  In addition\, people suffering from burnout may have difficulty concentrating and may not be thinking clearly. \nThis 3 hour\, interactive eWorkshop is designed for people in helping roles. \nThe eWorkshop will help you: \n\n\nUnderstand the difference between burnout\, anxiety and depression \n\n\nDevelop your knowledge of workplace factors that may help prevent burnout \n\n\nIdentify individual personality characteristics that may make a person more prone to burnout \n\n\nDevelop a simple plan to help prevent burnout \n\n\nFurther your knowledge of how to recover from burnout and support others to recover \n\n\nWhen: Tuesday\, 16th May 2023 from 9:30am to 12.30pm (AEST). \nWhere: Online eWorkshop delivered via Zoom. You will receive the Zoom details one week prior to the eWorkshop. \nCost: The early bird booking is $195.00 registration (GST included) if registered before 2nd May 2023\, if registered after the 2nd May 2023 then the Full Price is $250.00. \nTo register: Register and complete payment. The payment needs to be completed before the workshop occurs\, for the registration to be fully confirmed. \nFacilitator: David Cherry \nDavid Cherry is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has been working for over 40 years. David has provided training for over 20\,000 people in agencies all around Australia\, assisting staff to learn how to keep themselves safe in difficult situations and develop their skills in defusing situations where individuals may become aggressive. David and his colleagues have run training for Code Grey teams in hospitals. David’s book entitled Managing Violent and Potentially Violent Situations-A Guide for Individuals and Organisations\, which he co-wrote with Bronwyn Upston\, has been distributed to 4000 emergency relief providers Australia wide. \n
