Educators lead playful\, cooperative and nurturing activities to create an atmosphere of fun\, caring\, acceptance and encouragement. DESCRIPTION:If you’re a mediator or Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner\, you’re often making calls in real time about:\n\nwhat’s safe\,\nwhat’s ethical\,\nwhat’s fair\,\nand what’s actually possible in the room.\n\nAnd when domestic violence dynamics are present (especially coercive control)\, the usual mediation instincts don’t always work the way we want them to.\n\nThis full-day training is practical\, grounded\, and built for the decisions you actually have to make – screening\, process choices\, reality testing\, managing power imbalance\, and knowing when to pause or stop.\n\nYou’ll leave with:\n\nclear cues for what to look for (including what often gets missed)\na simple risk-informed way to choose process options\nlanguage you can use that supports safety and fairness\nstronger documentation and reasoning you can stand behind\n\nIf you want to feel more confident and in control of every scenario the next time you get that “this could be DV” feeling\, then this training is for you.\n\n
