The Significance of Explicit Restorative Practice

November 27, 2017 @ 10:00 am - November 30, 2017 @ 6:00 pm AEDT

Conflict Resolution Service Inc is offering a four-day workshop facilitated by renowned Australian Restorative Practice pioneers, Terry O’Connell and Matt Casey. Together they will share their knowledge, philosophy and vast experience of working restoratively in a range of settings and contexts from prisons to communities to youth work to workplaces.

The emphasis is on “re-envisioning” your practice to make it explicit. You can expect to leave this training with a sound understanding of how to:

  • Develop an explicit practice framework.
  • Facilitate restorative dialogue that fosters engagement, collaboration and rewarding opportunities.
  • Strengthen your existing practice through the integration of restorative elements.
  • Use restorative processes to strengthen collegial relationships.
  • Build relational capacity by sharing restorative language and practice with those you are assisting.
