Masterclass: Working With Domestic Violence in Mediation

This 1 day masterclass will provide you with advanced skills to:

• identify and assess for DV and appropriateness,
• manage DV,
• use appropriate skills when there is DV and
• manage the safety of the parties.

The power dynamics causes by DV can have a significant impact on the FDR session as well as the parties so it’s important that when working in this area our skills are advanced enough to meet the need.

In addition to learning theory and acquiring practical tools to use immediately, you will master new skills by interacting with your trainers and other attendees. Through participating in extensive role-play scenarios and mentoring, you will develop confidence in your understanding of the process and model.

You will learn from highly experienced educators who are also practicing mediators/FDRPs who face the same challenges as you every day.
