ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION/OVERVIEW
Child & Family Services Ballarat Inc. (Cafs) is a not-for-profit incorporated organisation that has no religious affiliations. We are owned and governed by the community, for the benefit of the community. We are guided by our organisational values of respect, collaboration, innovation and integrity.
Our inclusive and accessible programs support children, young people, individuals and families who are in need of assistance. We service the Victorian Central Highlands and Grampians regions, including the Ballarat, Hepburn, Ararat, Moorabool, Golden Plains and Pyrenees local government areas.
Cafs is a child safe organisation – committed to promoting and protecting the safety of children. We value cultural and linguistic diversity, provide a culturally safe environment and are White Ribbon and Rainbow Tick accredited. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the First Nations Peoples of Australia and are committed to reconciliation.
