How to deal with everyday conflict in the workplace

November 29, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm AEDT

$250

Tuesday 29 November, 9:30am – 4pm. Camberwell
1183 Toorak Road, Camberwell, VIC 3124

Conflict occurs when there is both a perceived difference between the interests of the parties concerned, and a belief, at least initially, that both sets of interests cannot be met simultaneously. In the workplace, this can happen quite regularly as many people work in teams and need to complete tasks together. This workshop will discuss practical strategies for managing conflict in different situations and provide participants with skills to implement these strategies. It will also provide a clear process for participants to use to achieve more positive outcomes when encountering conflict and discuss when other processes need to be engaged.
