Expression of Interest – Parliament of Australia 2018 Workshop

Have you always wanted to know the ins and outs of Federal Parliament?

FRSA is seeking expressions of interest from FRSA Members (and non-members) wishing to participate in a ONE DAY, Canberra based seminar designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of Parliamentary processes. The workshop will be held Thursday 12 April at Parliament House Canberra.

Ordinarily, Parliament house runs a four part seminar program across four separate days with each seminar running for two and a half hours. The cost per seminar is $350.00, a total of $1400 to attend all four.

BUT – FRSA has been speaking with Parliament House about holding a custom designed workshop, combining the content of ALL four seminars in a single full day Seminar.  We would be able to provide this single day seminar option at a cost of $375 (member) or $450 (non-member) price.

This one day workshop will provide you with an overview of Australia’s Parliamentary system of government and what parliament does, practical insights into the procedures involved in the Budget, step by step information about legislative processes and an overview of the committees, how they operate and how to get involved.
