Your new role

  • Full time ongoing
  • Located at Wagga Wagga, NSW
  • Annual Salary between $85,120.35 to $91,586.55

This position requires a dynamic, proactive individual capable of leading and mentoring a team across two locations covering Canberra, Wagga and the surrounding regions.

Duties:

The Client Services Team Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the Practice Manager and ensuring seamless service delivery.

  • Ensure that client intake, onboarding, fee collection and reception functions are welcoming, highly professional and sensitive, undertaken by well qualified and competent staff and enable all organisational services and systems to function effectively.
  • Ensure intake staff have appropriate customer service and telephony skills in responding to client queries, initial demographic collection, managing and referring as appropriate to family advisers, senior clinicians/practitioners or managers.
  • Always maintain a focus on the needs of clients, ensuring that systems operate in the best interest of the clients.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with recruitment activities as required and supervise, train and support client service officers.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Certificate IV in Community Services or a relevant field and demonstrated experience in a client facing workplace.
  2. Demonstrated supervisory and team engagement experience in a culturally diverse environment, with an ability to coach and mentor staff, to prioritise workloads and to lead the team to deliver on challenging objectives in a timely manner.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and management
  4. Excellent observational, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact sensitively with a diverse range of people.
