1-2-3 Magic® & Emotion Coaching | Manage Children’s Difficult Behaviour, Brisbane
The 1–2–3 Magic® and Emotion Coaching program aims to teach parents how to deal with their children’s difficult behaviour by using a simple signalling system. The system encourages parents and carers to be less verbal and emotive when met with problem behaviours in order to encourage the development of children’s ability to manage their emotional reactions to parental boundaries. The course looks at what is reasonable teenage behaviour, how to teach teenagers to manage their behaviour and emotional reactions, how parents can build a relationship with their teenagers and strategies for dealing with unacceptable behaviour.
