This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Counsellor at our Cranbourne centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Southern Melbourne, you will deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based counselling services to children and young people impacted by family violence and their families. The role includes intake, MARAM risk assessment, therapeutic intervention, case coordination and referral using multimodal approaches delivered online and face to face. Based in Southern Melbourne, you will manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate records, and contribute to positive client outcomes in a culturally responsive, child-focused manner.
This role is located at Cranbourne and is part-time, temporary working 3 days per week (0.6FTE) with the expectation that one day per week will be an evening shift. The base salary range is $98,027 – $105,084 (pro-rata) per annum.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling or family therapy, with demonstrated experience delivering child-focused, evidence-based counselling to children and families impacted by family violence.
- Strong understanding of family violence risk and safety frameworks, including MARAM, and the impact of trauma on child development and wellbeing.
- Proven case coordination, communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice and confident engagement with diverse clients, families and service partners.
