The Conference Program for the FRSA National Conference 2016 is now available to view online, containing the most up to date details of the sessions and timings, links to session abstracts for you to view in advance and speaker bios for more information.
The Conference will include a variety of international and local keynote speakers and workshop leaders addressing a range of topics and issues in an exciting mix of plenaries, debates and interactive sessions, to support and encourage important discussions and conversations by offering new insights and knowledge.
The newly appointed Assistant Minister for Social Services, the Hon. Zed Seselja will be delivering keynote address 1 to kick off the Conference! Followed by International keynote speaker, Associate Professor Moira Inkelas from UCLA presenting ‘A learning system for improving family and community outcomes’.
Our keynote speakers for day 2 include, Professor John Toumbourou, Chair in Health Psychology at Deakin University, will be disemenating key points on how we strengthen prevention and early intervention within Australian family and relationship services and Ms Anna Huber (Families in Mind Psychology) who will take us through 10 myths that prevent sound evaluation of outcomes.
For the last day of the Conference, we have Families Commissioner at Superu, New Zealand, Mr Len Cook, providing us with international insight into ‘What is “investment” in the New Zealand social investment model’.
The three day event containing 51 concurrent sessions and plenty of opportunity to network with members of the sector, is an event not to be missed!
